Worcester Firefighter Injured In Early Morning House Fire

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — One firefighter was injured and seven people were displaced after a fire broke out at a multi-family house early Sunday.

Worcester Fire Department said the heavy three-alarm fire started at around 3 a.m. on the third floor, and it spread to the attic space.

One firefighter was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the Worcester Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
