WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Worcester firefighters knocked down a major house fire overnight that had engulfed the structure in flames by the time crews arrived.
According to WFD, firefighters responded to calls about the home on fire on Trowbridge Circuit in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The two-alarm fire was contained to the single home, causing only minor exterior and window damage to the house next door. WFD confirmed the house on fire was vacant and there were no injuries.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
