Worcester Police: 17-Year-Old Boy Shot To Death

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 17-year-old boy was shot to death in Worcester early Monday morning, police say.

According to Worcester Police, officers responded to the area of Shannon Street at around 3:16 a.m. for a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, they found evidence shots were fired, but did not locate a victim.

Police say after checking local hospitals for potential gunshot victims, they found a 17-year-old. He was pronounced dead.
