AUBURN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Worcester public school bus was involved in a serious crash in Auburn on Wednesday morning. Auburn Police said a commercial van slammed into the bus at the intersection of Route 20 and Millbury Street. They were called to the scene at 9:17 a.m.

Police said no one was injured, and there were no kids on the bus at the time. Deputy Chief Scott Mills said police were investigating another two-car crash right across the street from the intersection, and that the van driver may have been distracted by that crash scene.

They don't expect any charges for either driver, and both the bus and the van had significant damage. Mills said the vehicles were repairable.
