BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Like grandfather, like grandson. A rookie Giants outfielder will have a family reunion Tuesday night at Fenway.
San Francisco outfielder Mike Yastrzemski will play against the Red Sox Tuesday while his Hall of Famer grandfather Carl "Yaz" Carl Yastrzemski watches from the stands.
The Giants and Red Sox are not predicted to make it to the playoffs, but the rookie Giants outfielder has experienced a great season. He's played 96 games, has 19 home runs and 51 RBI.
"Yaz" played for the Sox over two decades and is an 18-time All-Star.
