19-Year-Old Man In Custody After Fatal 2-Car Crash In Erving

ERVING, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say a 19-year-old man is in custody in connection with a fatal two-car crash in north-central Massachusetts.

The accident happened on Route 63 in Erving shortly after 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

A spokeswoman for the Northwestern District Attorney's Office says a 68-year-old man died in the wreck.

Officials have not released the names of the two men and have not disclosed the charges against the 19-year-old.

Erving police and state police are investigating the cause of the crash.

The older man's body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
