BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — 'Zoo Howl' kicks off on Saturday at Franklin Park Zoo and will run through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.
The family event is a chance to trick-or-treat among the animals.
The animals too will be celebrating Halloween as they will be receiving their seasonal enrichment like pumpkins.
And guests can buy special healthy treats that are made with sustainable palm oil to feed the animals.
All of the zoo's visitors this weekend at Zoo Howl are encouraged to wear costumes.
There's a costume contest, activities, and educators on hand throughout the zoo answering questions and providing information on all of the zoo's wildlife.
