NightSide with Dan Rea - Rundown for 12/13/17

NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for December 13, 2017

Wednesdays with Walsh!  Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is in studio to check in with Dan and the rest of NightSide Nation!  In the wake of the attempted terror attack in New York City on Monday, how can we keep the city’s holiday celebrations safe?  What do the staggering statistics from the Boston Globe’s series on racism in Boston really mean?  Why are eighty-five percent of Boston Public Schools getting new start times next fall?  Tune in to hear the Mayor’s thoughts on those issues and whatever else you’d like to hear discussed.  Call in with your comments or questions and be a part of the show!

The Dichotomy of Belichick and Brady!  Tom Brady is known for always presenting a charming, humble persona during his post-game press conferences.  He always seems to strike a relatable, likable tone regardless of whether the team won or lost, and never fails to establish a warm, natural rapport with reporters and analysts.  On the other hand, his head coach Bill Belichick takes a very different approach.  Do you think Belichick crosses the line of decency in the way he handles questions from reporters?  Should the NFL fine him for the condescending tone he uses during his post-game remarks?  Call in and sound off!

Corruption at the FBI?  Prior to the Deputy Attorney General’s testimony to a Congressional committee today, a number of text messages and emails that were exchanged between members of the FBI were leaked to the media.  The messages show an extreme anti-Trump bias from Peter Strzok, one of the lead investigators into the Hillary Clinton email scandal and formerly part of the Mueller investigation into the Trump team’s connections to Russia.  With such a strong anti-Trump force working as part of the investigation, has the entire process been tainted?  Is it time for the President to fire Mueller?  Call in and be heard!
