NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for December 18, 2017
Going Green Has Neighbors Seeing Red! A couple in Beverly, Massachusetts has installed a large rotating solar panel in their front yard that they use to power their house and shrink their carbon footprint. The panel has saved the couple hundreds of dollars a month, and the owners say they feel good knowing they are doing their part to help protect the planet. But not all of the neighbors are happy with the large structure. Ted and Mary Downing live nearby, and they say the solar panel is a massive eyesore. They join Dan in the NightSide studio tonight to explain why they believe the neighborhood should have been included in the conversation before the panel was built. Do you think neighbors concerned about property value and aesthetics have a legitimate concern? Or do the property owners have the right to build the panel regardless of what neighbors think of it? Call in and join the conversation!
“What Now, Lieutenant?” General Richard “Butch” Neal served for thirty-five years. General Neal joins Dan tonight to talk about his new memoir, “What Now, Lieutenant? Leadership Forged from Events in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Beyond”. Tune in to hear the retired Four Star Marine General’s thoughts on the state of the U.S. military and the lessons he learned throughout his decades of service. Call in with your comments or questions and be a part of the show!
Attorney Alan Dershowitz Says Mueller Getting Sloppy! There was a lot of debate over the weekend about whether special counsel Robert Mueller overstepped his authority when his office obtained emails belonging to the Trump transition team. Though Mueller didn’t get a warrant, his office says they followed the proper legal protocol. Do you think Mueller’s investigation has lost its credibility? Is Mueller doing enough to ensure that his investigation remains free of political bias? Is it time for President Trump to end the investigation once and for all? Call in and sound off!
