Will Beverly Neighbors See the Light? Last night, we heard from some residents in Beverly, Massachusetts who are concerned about a solar panel installed by one of their neighbors. Some who live on the street say the structure is a large eyesore that will lower their property value, and are upset that they weren’t consulted before the panel was built. But tonight we’ll hear from Lola Eanes, owner of the solar panel. She says that she and her husband were perfectly within their rights to build the tower, and that its positive impact far outweighs any of the neighbors’ concerns. The Latest on the Republican Tax Plan Vote! The House of Representatives voted earlier today to pass the GOP tax bill, 227 to 203. The bill will now be voted on in the Senate, and, assuming it passes, could head to the President’s desk by the end of the week. Republican legislators are cheering the passage as a major win for the American workers, despite Democratic criticism that the benefits are weighted too heavily towards the wealthy class.
