Justice for Bicyclists? MassBike, an advocacy group that fights for the rights of bicyclists, are making the case that cyclists who are killed by drivers are often denied justice. In fact, the group points out that since 2015, of the 33 bicyclists who have been killed in Massachusetts accidents, 28 of those cases resulted in no prosecution. Richard Fries, Executive Director of MassBike, joins Dan in studio to talk about why he feels we need a culture change, and why now is the right time for it. Do you agree that we need to do more to protect those on bikes? Call in and join the conversation!
To Pot or Not? North Andover could be the site of a new massive marijuana facility that would include space for growing, cultivation, and research. But not all North Andover residents are pleased at the prospect of the project. Tonight, Dan will be joined in studio by representatives from both sides of the issue. Should Massachusetts cities and towns be allowed to ban marijuana once it is fully legalized? Or should they have to respect the will of the voters? Call in with your comments or questions and be a part of the show!
New Study Swears By Swearing! A new study shows that there may actually be some significant physical and emotional benefits to swearing. Call in and tell us (politely) what’s on your mind!
