Can You Celebrate Red Auerbach During Black History Month?  The Boston Police Department sent out a tweet last night commemorating Black History Month.  But the tweet, which honored Red Auerbach for the color barriers he helped the Celtics break during his time with the team, was met with immediate criticism.  Tanisha Sullivan, President of the Boston NAACP, checks in with Dan to explain why the tweet received such a passionate response.  Do you think it is appropriate to recognize a white man’s contributions during Black History Month?  Call in and tell us what’s on your mind!

Olympics Media Buying the Propaganda?  Some of the national coverage of this year’s Olympics has been raising some eyebrows.  In particular, a CNN article posted over the weekend, titled “Kim Jong Un’s Sister is Stealing the Show at the Winter Olympics”, is being ridiculed for the glowing way it described the North Korean dictator’s sister.  Do you think it’s important for news outlets to keep the human rights concerns in North Korea in mind while covering these Olympic Games?  Should there be more focus and conversation about the horrific conditions in North Korea while the Olympics are going on?  Call in and add your voice to the mix!
