Is This Charlie Baker’s Exit Strategy? Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker says President Trump's refusal to accept the election results is "not in the best interest of this country." The Governor called the President's claim of massive voter fraud “baseless” and the investigation by the Department of Justice into the allegations, “wildly inappropriate.” Do you think this is a foreshadowing of Charlie Baker leaving the Republican Party for the Democrat Party?
Was Mike Pompeo Kidding? Secretary of State Mike Pompeo set off a firestorm this week during a press conference when he made a statement regarding the readiness of the State Department for a change of hands saying: “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.” The Secretary was immediately savaged by members of the media for not taking a more serious tone regarding the election results, claiming his comment was damaging to U.S. interests. Was this an attempt at a joke, an off-color one at that, by Secretary Pompeo?
Georgia State of… Fogginess. Today, the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced there will be a hand recount of ballots throughout the state. That means 159 counties will conduct a hand recount and audit of all votes cast in the Presidential Election. The ballots will be divided into piles by hand then placed into machines to be counted. Uncertified results in the state show Democrat Joe Biden leading President Donald Trump by a little over 14,000 votes out of nearly 5 million votes counted in the state…by that margin is it worth President Trump challenging?
