Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker recently announced new COVID-related restrictions in the state — curfews, tighter limits on gatherings, and masks in public whether you are socially distanced or not. Are these measures in line with the threat posed by the second Coronavirus wave or are they too strict?
The Vaccine “Fair Priority Model”. One of Joe Biden's Coronavirus advisers wrote in September that any Coronavirus vaccine should be distributed globally before being given to Americans according to something called the “Fair Priority Model.” Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who told the public to stop being hysterical over COVID because it would disappear in the Spring, now says we need to avoid “vaccine nationalism.” Has anyone ever explained to Dr. Emanuel that you put your own oxygen mask on first before you help someone else?
Thanksgiving in the Yard. Get the beach chairs out of the garage, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests Americans who are hosting Thanksgiving have dinner outside to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus. According to the Farmer's Almanac, New England, the Great Lakes region, and the Ohio Valley will have snow on the holiday. Texas northward to Iowa, and Idaho westward to the Pacific Ocean will have rain. Are you planning to have Thanksgiving outside this year?
