Shunning the Right. A new student written petition has surfaced at Harvard University in the form of an open letter to the President and Harvard University deans and leadership calling on the university to ban any Trump administration officials from speaking, attending, or teaching at Harvard. This petition is in line with the same agenda of the Trump Accountability Project, which is a liberal effort to “make sure those members of the Trump administration responsible for loosening the guardrails of our democracy are not rewarded with book deals, TV contracts, or six-figure salaries in the private sector based on that experience. Does that sound like the unifying message President Elect Joe Biden had during his acceptance speech? Is it right to shun an entire group of people over their political affiliation?

Overcoming COVID, A Story to Tell. The Coronavirus has had a devastating effect on American families throughout the country and no one knows that better than North Shore Music Theater General Manager Karen Nascembeni. Both her and her husband (a fellow thespian of the NSMT) came down with COVID-19 and found themselves in the fight for their lives with COVID leaving them both in a coma. Fortunately, Nascembeni came out the other side of the COVID battle and joins Jordan to share her experience of contracting and battling COVID-19 as well as give you advice about this deadly virus that has been plaguing the country.

Saying Goodbye to Late Night. Long-time late-night host, comedian, and writer, Conan O’Brien has announced that he will be giving up his late-night talk show and saying goodbye to late night after a 28 years in the industry. Conan will still be in the business in a different capacity working on a variety show for HBO. With that being said, late night TV has been a staple throughout television history starting with Steve Allen, to Johnny Carson, to David Letterman, and more.
