President Elect Joe Biden has been assembling his cabinet and it has now been announced that he has chosen former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen as the nation’s Treasury Secretary over Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Furthermore, this comes on the same day that Biden selected John Kerry to be the nation’s International Climate Envoy on the National Security Council. Did Sen. Warren ever have a real chance at Secretary against Yellen? It looks like the Senator will not be leaving Massachusetts anytime soon…
The Transition Begins… The General Services Administration made the announcement that President-elect Joe Biden is the “apparent winner” of the Nov. 3rd election, officially allowing Joe Biden and his team to coordinate with federal agencies and truly begin the transition of power process. President Trump has yet to officially concede but he did make a statement saying he is urging his team to cooperate with the protocols in place and with that the transition process.
