Limited Martial Law and a New Election. Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn is suggesting that President Trump declare martial law and have the military oversee a do-over General Election. Recently, the Ohio-based “We The People Convention” took out a full-page ad in the Washington Times urging the President to do exactly that with hand counted paper ballots observed by both Democrat and Republican parties and allowing only registered voters with photo IDs to take part. Does any of this sound reasonable to you?
An Empty Seat at the Inauguration. The press is reporting that President Trump will not attend President-elect Biden's inauguration on January 20th and may even announce his candidacy for 2024 in a competing event. Joe Biden says it would be best for the country if President took part in the ceremony to show a peaceful transition of power. Should President Trump take part in the inauguration?
Say Goodbye to the Emotional Support Peacock in Row B Seat A. The U.S. Department of Transportation made an announcement this week that they will now only recognize trained service dogs as the only service animal allowed to accompany a passenger on a flight free of charge. Other types of “emotional support animals” (within reason) will be allowed on the plane but under stricter guidelines as they are now recognized as pets rather than service animals and patrons are required to pay a fee to travel with them. This decision is the DOT’s way of cracking down on travelers trying to pass their pets off as service animals to avoid paying extra fees. Do you agree with this new regulation? Have you ever traveled with an “emotional support animal”?
