With the second COVID surge in full force here in Massachusetts, the state has tightened their COVID restrictions forcing gyms and fitness centers to operate at just 25% capacity. These new restrictions leave many gyms and fitness centers struggling to stay afloat. On top of that, during a time when gyms are used to seeing a spike in gym memberships due to people’s fitness New Year’s Resolutions, it’s another spike that is causing people to run away scared from the gyms... Trainer and Pilates instructor, Kara Duval of Kara Duval Pilates and Dave Blondin, owner of Prime Fitness & Nutrition, Inc., join Jordan to discuss how the fitness world has adapted amid this COVID pandemic. How have you changed your work out habits? Are you scared to physically go to your local gym because of COVID?

One could argue the COVID pandemic is actually adding fuel to the fire of the addiction pandemic. Ordering The Groceries. 2020 has forced us to change our regular habits and that even includes the way we eat. According to Kaleido Insights, this past April, a month after the COVID pandemic hit, grocery shopping in the U.S. jumped to 110% in daily digital sales. The evidence is clear, many people shifted to online grocery shopping and stuck with it throughout the year. Many have found they prefer this new way of consuming goods, pandemic or no pandemic.
