The Thin Blue Line Flag. There is a debate at Weymouth High School over whether to allow the Thin Blue Line Flag to be showcased. Students who support the flag say it is a way to honor fallen Weymouth Police Officer Michael Chesna. Those who oppose say the flag is a symbol of hate, fear, and intimidation. Should the student body find another way to honor the police?

Snitching on the Parents. An 18-year-old Texan turned his dad in to the FBI as a member of the mob that overran the Capitol during the January 6th siege. His father is visible in news footage trespassing but doing little else. Jackson Reffitt says, “It was my moral compass" that prompted him to do so - and he would do it again. Whose behavior do you find more alarming, the father's or the son's?

Done with 1776. President Biden is abolishing former President Trump’s 1776 Commission on “patriotic education” calling it counterfactual and offensive. The report from the commission was a response to the 1619 project which was highly critical of the founders and the history of this nation. Is this a forward step toward national unity?
