Nightside with Dan Rea - Rundown for April 28, 2021

Baker's Light at the End of the Tunnel. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has officially announced a series of steps that will lead to the full reopening of the state. The plan is for all businesses in the Commonwealth to return to 100% capacity by August 1st. Some local retail leaders say the reopening process is too slow and that it puts them at a disadvantage having to hold out even longer. Is Gov. Baker’s reopening plan too slow? Should he speed up the process of getting back to 100% capacity for the state’s suffering businesses?

The President's Address. President Biden gives his first address to Congress tonight to bring America up to speed on what he has accomplished during his first 100 days in office. Listen tonight as WBZ NewsRadio brings you live coverage!

An Open Letter to LeBron. 24-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department Deon Joseph wrote an open letter to LeBron James following LeBron’s tweet targeting the Ohio police officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant. Joseph invited LeBron to sit down and have a civil conversation with him saying, “I can help you understand the reality of the profession of policing, and that there is another side you need to hear.” Do you think it’s possible for two individuals such as these men to help bridge the gap between policing and society’s distaste for police?
