Rolling Thunder Muffled. The Biden Administration has rejected the permit for the annual Rolling to Remember motorcycle ride usually held on Memorial Day in Washington D.C. The event is sponsored by AMVETS and was permitted as usual by local officials and by both the Interior and Transportation Agencies before being stopped cold by the Pentagon who rescinded their approval with no explanation. Has the Administration made a mistake in blocking the veteran’s charity? Is this action motivated by COVID fears or is it a political statement?

Chauvin Re-Trial? The defense attorney for Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of killing George Floyd, is requesting a new trial on numerous grounds including jury misconduct. One issue was un-covered this week when it was discovered that a juror had lied during questioning and denied that he knew anything about Floyd's murder when a year old tweet revealed he was photographed last August at a march wearing a BLM shirt emblazoned with "Get your knee off our necks". Is a re-trial appropriate?
