If Traffic is Anything to Go by...The Pandemic is Over. One of the silver linings to the past horrific year of lockdowns has been the lack of road congestion in Boston, which was once touted as having the worst commute times in the country. COVID restrictions are now lifted in most places, allowing long weekend travel and the re-opening of offices. Did you hit the roads again? Did you get caught in a traffic jam?

Rush to Judgment. In the Boston case regarding Police Commissioner Dennis White, new video affidavits have been submitted by White’s daughter and former sister-in-law that show his ex-wife as having a history of violent behavior. White has a termination hearing, a hearing in name only with no witnesses this Wednesday where it’s likely he will be fired by Acting Boston Mayor Kim Janey. The city has denied a request by White and his attorney to have a hearing open to the public and press. Is the firing of Boston Police Commissioner Dennis White without a full evidentiary hearing unfair?

Amazon Allows “Blue Lives Murder” Apparel”. Amazon is under fire for allowing “Blue Lives Murder” apparel to be sold on their website. Law enforcement officers including the group Detectives’ Endowment Association, argue the apparel is “dehumanizing” and “demoralizing” and by Amazon allowing this, they are sending the message to law enforcement that they do not care about them. Amazon put out a statement after receiving a formal complaint from the officer’s association saying, “As a retailer, we provide our customers with access to a variety of viewpoints across books, videos, and products.” Do you think Amazon is sending the wrong message by keeping up this apparel? Former Las Vegas Police Lt. and Founder and CEO of The Wounded Blue, Randy Sutton joins Dan to discuss.

When a Fan Goes Berserk...This past weekend during a Celtics game at TD Garden, one fan got a bit wild and threw a water bottle at former Celtic Kyrie Irving, that nearly hit him. The fan was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Irving later spoke out about the incident saying, “It’s just underlying racism and treating people like they’re in a human zoo, throwing stuff at people, saying things. There’s a certain point where it gets to be too much.” When it does get to be too much like that, what should the penalty be for a fan who acts like this?
