Nero's Bill is Back. A piece of legislation called “Nero’s Law,” which would allow police dogs to be treated and transported by first responders is getting another chance. The bill is named after a former police dog who was seriously wounded while his handler, K-9 Officer Sean Gannon, was killed while serving an arrest warrant in 2018. Massachusetts State Rep. Steven Xiarhos joins Dan to discuss why the bill is important.

Compensation for 36 Years... Frederick Weichel spent 36 years in prison for a crime which he claims he did not commit. However, the Attorney General's office says that Weichel is not entitled to compensation for wrongful imprisonment. Weichel's murder conviction was overturned after a judge ruled that prosecutors had withheld evidence that might have proven his innocence. Should Weichel receive compensation?

The Boston Bomber Looking At the Death Penalty....Again. The U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether to reinstate the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev for the Boston Marathon terror bombings that killed three people and wounded hundreds more. Tsarnaev's death sentence was overturned last year by the First Circuit Court of Appeals but now the Biden Administration Department of Justice is weighing in saying the crime warrants the death sentence.
