Drag Queen Story Hour - in Plymouth. Plymouth Public Library held a Drag Queen Story Hour yesterday starring drag performers Just JP and Nuqueer who read stories to children. The goal of Drag Queen Story Hour is to “capture the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and give kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.” In the audience was NewBostonPost reporter Tom Joyce who joins Dan to share the experience.

Annissa Essaibi George For Mayor! Boston City Councilor At-Large Annissa Essaibi George is one of a number of candidates running for mayor of Boston. Tonight she joins Dan to discuss her campaign and issues such as the dwindling police department, the shake-up at the Boston School Committee, rebounding from the pandemic, and whatever else you want to ask. White Accountability Groups? The Washington Post is being scrutinized for a new episode of one of their podcasts, The New Normal, that encourages White people to create “accountability groups”. In this new episode, several mental health professionals discussed “understanding your whiteness and the ways that white supremacy benefits you.” One psychologist in particular said, “part of the structure of racism is to keep us from recognizing that racism is part of our daily lives.” Is it? Do White people need to create accountability groups?
