Berry Says Morality Over Patriotism. Hammer thrower and activist Gwen Berry has received fierce backlash after she turned her back on the American flag while on the third-place winner's podium as the national anthem was being played at the U.S. Olympic Trials. In response to the criticism, Berry writes on social media that these negative comments demonstrate that her critics "rally patriotism over basic morality." Is she right?
