Someone Fact Check That! Are too many news stories getting reported before proper vetting? Just this past weekend, the news outlet Axios removed a tweet of theirs that claimed U.S. Border Patrol agents were whipping Haitian migrants. Multiple journalists have come out saying those reports of whipping are false and not one witnessed such action. Where were the media fact checkers last week before these false accusations went viral? Why are various outlets rushing to judgment before knowing all the facts?
M, F, or X. Two Massachusetts bills involving gender and sexuality cleared the state Senate this week. One bill would allow residents to mark their sex as “X” on their driver’s licenses and birth certificates and the other would require “medically accurate” sex education in public schools. Currently, sex education is not a requirement in Massachusetts public schools. Are you in favor or opposition to these bills?
