NightSide with Dan Rea - Rundown for October 1, 2021

Is Vote-By-Mail Here to Stay? Democrats on Beacon Hill are proposing to make mail-in voting permanent, expand early voting access and introduce same-day registration in response to what they call “anti-democratic” regulations in other states. The Senate plans to take up the bill next Wednesday. Is this a good idea?

Geriatric Drivers… This week in Needham, Massachusetts an 89-year-old man driving a BMW that was carrying two elderly passengers drove off the road slamming into a home. The two passengers, an 89-year-old woman and an 86-year-old woman did not survive the crash. The driver however survived with non-life-threatening injuries. How old is too old to drive? Is it time to institute more restrictions on elderly drivers?

Brady vs. Belichick. This weekend is the long-anticipated return of Tom Brady to New England. The quarterback comes back to Gillette Stadium for the first time since he left the team for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Who are you rooting for in Sunday's Patriots/Buccaneers game?
