The Superintendent of Public Schools in Melrose, MA, has decided to forego Halloween and instead hold “fall activities” that, according to the superintendent, will make all students and staff feel “safe, included and represented.” Melrose parents are fighting back with an online petition titled “Keep Halloween for Our Kids” which currently has almost 1,600 signatures.
