The Gloves Are Off in the Boston Mayor's Race. Tomorrow is Election Day in Boston when the historic mayor's race will finally be decided. No matter who wins Michelle Wu or Annissa Essaibi-George, Boston will have its first elected female mayor. As the ballot deadline looms, attack ads are appearing including a PAC ad regarding Wu's real estate holdings which she says is false and misleading. Have you already voted? Who do you support?

God Speed Jerry Remy. After a lengthy battle with cancer former Red Sox player and broadcaster Jerry Remy has passed away at the age of 68. Jerry was no stranger to Dan who was able to spend time with the legend and has some moments to share. Do you have any favorite recollections of Remy?

Mandate Madness. Over 500 Bay State employees have been suspended, resigned, or fired since Governor Baker's vaccine mandate took effect this month. One K-9 was taken from his state trooper handler because of refusal to take the jab. In New York, police officers, firefighters, garbage collectors and other city workers faced a 5 p.m. Friday deadline to prove vaccination status leaving the Big Apple with mounting trash, closed firehouses, and fewer police on the street. Are the mandates themselves a hazard to public safety?
