NightSide with Dan Rea - Rundown for November 16, 2021

Wu's Swearing In! For the first time in Boston’s 400-year history, an elected woman of color is sworn in as Mayor. As the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, Michelle Wu was the first Asian-American woman to serve as city councilor and from 2016 to January 2018 also served as the council’s first woman of color president. Is Boston on the road to a brighter future?

More Vets in Congress! Former Navy SEAL and entrepreneur Eli Crane is running for Congress in the 1st District of the great state of Arizona against a three-time incumbent. He is one of five retired Navy SEALs running across the country in a collective effort to get more Veterans in Congress. Crane favors low taxes, less regulation, "pro-growth, pro-job policies,” and joins Dan to discuss.

Rittenhouse Roundup. The Rittenhouse jury is deliberating after a shocking closing argument from the prosecution in which the lead Assistant District Attorney misrepresented the law regarding self-defense and pointed an unloaded automatic weapon at the jury. The mainstream media says this is all about racism while supporters of the defendant say it’s about self-defense. Will Rittenhouse be convicted? Should he be?
