Death Sentence Reinstated. In a 6-3 vote, the U.S. Supreme Court has reinstated the death penalty for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Back in 2020, the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston vacated the death sentence finding errors with the trial judge’s rulings. Currently, the Biden Administration has imposed a moratorium on federal executions. Will Tsarnaev ever be put to death or will he live out his life in prison?
