Ollie’s Law. A proposed bill in Massachusetts called Ollie’s Law, aims to regulate pet daycare facilities in all cities and towns across the state. The proposed law is named after 7-month-old puppy Ollie who was viciously attacked by numerous dogs at a doggy daycare in western MA and ultimately lost his life. Rep. Brian Ashe, sponsor of the bill, and the late Ollie’s owner Amy Baxter joins Dan to discuss.
Poland Surprises The U.S. In a surprise move, Poland has proposed a plan that would provide Ukraine with 28 MiG-29 jets that they asked the U.S. to transport to Ukraine. Washington shot down the proposal with U.S. defense officials saying, “to fly into airspace that is contested with Russia over Ukraine raises serious concerns for the entire NATO alliance.” Dan discusses the ongoing tensions pertaining to the war in Ukraine.
