Seeking Safety. Local Fitchburg couple Deborah and William Hubbard have been trying to get their daughter and grandson, who reside in Ukraine, out of the war-torn country and to safety. U.S. born daughter Aislinn has faced many speed bumps that have prevented her from being able to flee with her baby. Father William Hubbard has taken it upon himself to travel over to Ukraine to assist his daughter and grandson in their efforts to make it out of the country. Tonight, Deborah Hubbard joins Dan to tell this harrowing tale that is still ongoing.
The War Rages On. In the last three weeks there have been roughly 600 civilian fatalities in Ukraine at the hands of Putin’s Russian soldiers. Of those killed is an American journalist. This week Ukrainian President Zelensky will address Congress where many speculate if he will again ask for help implementing a no-fly zone. Dan takes your calls on the ever-changing war in Ukraine.
