Catalytic Converter Thefts Are Skyrocketing! All across the state of Massachusetts police are seeing more and more catalytic converter thefts. Last year there were 804 reported converter thefts in the Commonwealth. These converters have become a popular item for thieves because the precious metals inside them have jumped in value. MA Rep. Steve Howitt joins Dan to discuss a bill he introduced that would crack down on these thefts here in the state.
The Push For More. A group of Boston city councilors are pushing to add more liquor licenses throughout the city, specifically in neighborhoods of color. The councilors want the state to grant them 200 nontransferable liquor licenses over a three-year period to be distributed in Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Hyde Park.
