Going Topless on Nantucket! Nantucket residents passed a bylaw this past week that would allow topless beaches. The “Gender Equality on Beaches” bylaw passed with 57% of the vote. However there are still hurdles ahead for Nantucket as the question of getting around the state’s indecent exposure law comes into play. The state would need to approve this bylaw for it to become a reality. Dorothy Stover, the resident who spearheaded the proposal joins Jordan to discuss.

Quincy Says Goodbye To Plastic Bags. Back in 2019, Quincy City Councilors voted to ban single-use plastic bags. The new ban was supposed to take effect in 2020 but due to the Covid pandemic it was delayed as the state banned reusable bags to prevent the spread of illness. Now Quincy’s ban is in effect and any violators will first be given a written warning, then $50 for a second offense and $100 for each subsequent offense. Where do you come down on plastic bags? In this pandemic world, what if plastic bags are safer to use than reusable bags?
