Brockton Reverses Course. Back in 2019, the Brockton City Council voted unanimously in favor of an ordinance that outlawed panhandling in various public spaces downtown. Flash forward to present day and the City Council has now voted to remove the original ordinance in light of a recent MA Supreme Court ruling that declared an anti-panhandling law in Fall River as an unconstitutional violation of free speech. Where do you come down on panhandling? Is prohibiting panhandling really unconstitutional?
Heading Back to Ukraine. Dr. William Hubbard, the local Fitchburg father who went overseas to Ukraine to assist in his daughter and grandson’s safe escape from the war-torn country is now heading back. This time Hubbard is heading to the town of Boyarka to bring drones, night vision goggles, and safety equipment to local police. Looking For Answers…Today after more than 50 years Congress held a congressional hearing to address UFOs. This comes almost a year after the government released a report showing more than 140 cases of UFO sightings since 2004. While Pentagon intelligence officials vow to do a “rigorous scientific analysis” into the origins of UFOs it appears they are still being less than forthcoming about what they do actually know…What information are they withholding and why won’t they share it with the general public?
