The Future of Boston Public Schools. The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released a state review of Boston Public Schools which chronicles a trend of stagnation. The report reads, “BPS has not made progress in tackling systemic barriers to district improvement.” Barriers include overhauling the school assignment system, changes to the transportation contact, and more. In The Wake of Uvalde’s Mass Shooting… The town of Uvalde, Texas continues to grapple with the tragic elementary school shooting that resulted in the deaths of 19 children and 2 teachers.
