To Sign or Not To Sign. Over the weekend, a Belmont minor was collecting signatures outside a Waltham Market Basket for a repeal effort to present a ballot question this November regarding driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants, when he was met by Waltham City Councilman Jonathan Paz and other citizens who engaged in counter efforts. The minor claims he was harassed which in turn caused him to abandon his signature efforts. Tonight, Dan speaks to the Belmont minor about the incident that ensued. We welcomed Councilman Paz on the show but he declined our offer.
Up Goes The Price! The United States Postal Service has made the announcement that the price of forever stamps has gone up 2 cents! A First-Class Mail Forever stamp will now cost 60 cents. Postcard stamp prices have also increased in price from 40 cents to 44 cents. The postal service cited, “inflation and increased operating expenses” for the increase.
