Another Day, Another MBTA Incident. On Thursday, an MBTA Orange Line train caught on fire while approaching Somerville’s Assembly Station. Chaos erupted as passengers kicked through windows and jumped out of the train with one woman even jumping off the bridge the train was on and into the Mystic River below. Gov. Baker called the fire a “colossal failure” by the MBTA. Earlier in the week, co-chair of the Joint Committee on Transportation, Rep. William Straus said, “The T, as an organization, isn’t necessarily worth saving”. Rep. Straus joins Dan to discuss.

The Takeaway. What are the main takeaways from the Jan. 6th Committee’s latest hearing? In addition, the Committee set the groundwork for Trump to be criminally charged. Dan breaks down all of the hearing’s main takeaways and wants to know if last night’s hearing was the final nail in the coffin against Trump running for office again?

20th Hour. Famed astronaut Buzz Aldrin is auctioning off his NASA jacket that he wore to the moon. The jacket has an estimated value between $1 million and $2 million. We ask you, if money was not an object, what is one piece of history that you would like to get your hands on?
