Putting The “High” in High School! The Massachusetts Legislature made a provision to the cannabis reform bill that includes a proposal to study giving students access to medical marijuana. The language in the bill says the study will include a “survey of available methods of consumption, administration and storage of medical use marijuana at public and private schools.” The study pertains to students who have been issued valid registration cards. Fentanyl Keeps Flowing In. In 2021, more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl were trafficked into the US; half of that came through the border of Mexico. Fentanyl is not just affecting border states, it’s flowing through every city and town across America. The DEA says fentanyl is driving the nationwide overdose epidemic. Tonight, Dan is joined by Brandon Judd, the President of the National Border Patrol Council and Gail Huff, candidate for NH’s First Congressional District House seat. They discuss the impact of fentanyl in NH and beyond.

Legalizing Sports Betting In MA. Massachusetts lawmakers have reached an agreement on a compromised sports betting bill. The legislation would legalize wagering on professional and collegiate sports in MA with the exception of in state schools. Gov. Baker still needs to sign off on the bill. When can residents expect to start legally placing bets? Lawmakers hope betting will begin this Fall. Do you have any concerns about legalized sports betting?
