Baker’s Call to Pardon. Gov. Charlie Baker is recommending both the Amirault siblings, from the 1980s Fells Acres daycare center case, be pardoned. Attorney Harvey Silverglate represented Gerald Amirault, who spent 18 years in prison for a child sex abuse conviction and believes the approval of this pardon would “remove a stain on the MA criminal justice system”.
