Baker’s Call to Pardon. Gov. Charlie Baker is recommending both the Amirault siblings, from the 1980s Fells Acres daycare center case, be pardoned. Attorney Harvey Silverglate represented Gerald Amirault, who spent 18 years in prison for a child sex abuse conviction and believes the approval of this pardon would “remove a stain on the MA criminal justice system”. Attorney Silverglate joins Dan to explain.

Standing Tall. After much controversy over the decision not to display a Christmas tree at their Dedham Public Library, Library Director Amber Moroney has released a statement that DPL will display a tree after all. The Board of Library Trustees will hold a meeting Tuesday evening that’s open to the public to discuss “library decorations and displays.” Tonight, your thoughts on the change of plans.
