Boston Needs Police! The Boston Police Department has put out the call to other local departments that they need more officers to deal with their “dire” staffing levels. BPD Commissioner Cox wrote a letter to the MA Chiefs of Police Assoc. saying they hope to “add to our ranks and have resources in place before the summer months.” Boston Police Patrolmen’s Assoc. President Larry Calderone joins Dan to discuss.

Pharmacy Abortion Pills. The FDA has approved a decision to allow pharmacies to dispense abortion pills. It would be up to individual pharmacies to seek certifications to sell the pill. Tonight, your thoughts on if your local pharmacy should offer abortion pills to mainstream abortion care.

Travel Restrictions and Travelers from China. Currently in effect is a new Covid-19 testing requirement for all travelers entering the U.S. from China. Due to a surge in infections, the U.S. is asking travelers to test for Covid no more than two days before travel and provide a negative test before boarding their flight. China has criticized the requirement calling it “unacceptable”. Is the Covid testing requirement wrong or smart?
