Helping Boston’s Most Endangered Citizens. Later this week, the temperature in Boston is supposed to drop to sub-zero temperatures. It could dip as low as 40 degrees below zero in what forecasters say could be the coldest air in Boston in years. How is the city preparing to help the homeless avoid the bitter cold? Dr. Jim O’Connell, founder of the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program joins Dan to discuss the critical care being offered for Boston’s most endangered citizens.

School-Age Violence in Boston Continues… Monday afternoon three students were stabbed near TechBoston Academy in Dorchester. This is not the first violent incident to occur near the school or at a BPS over the last year. Boston City Councilor Erin Murphy has been leading the charge in calling for more school resource officers and better communication between police and schools. Councilor Murphy joins Dan to discuss.

Prison Organ Donations? Springfield, MA State Rep Carlos Gonzales has filed a bill that would allow those in prison to participate in bone marrow or organ donations and by doing so get some time cut from their sentence. Good or bad idea? Tonight, your thoughts on this proposed bill.
