Home Equity Theft in MA Examined. MA is one of 12 states plus D.C., that can take property through tax foreclosure. From 2014 through 2021 Massachusetts homeowners subjected to tax foreclosure lost 82% of their home equity on average, which is roughly $172k per home. MA Rep. Tommy Vitolo is sponsoring a bill to protect homeowners from unnecessary foreclosures. Vitolo as well as Attorney Josh Polk of the Pacific Legal Foundation join Dan to discuss.

Foxboro Divided Over Mascot. The town of Foxboro, MA is divided over whether to change their longtime mascot logo that features a Native American warrior’s head. The School Committee is currently debating the matter. Is it time for Foxboro to change their mascot’s logo?

Fenway “Lights Up”! Boston Globe Sports Columnist Dan Shaughnessy wrote a piece titled, Have celebrations in sports gone too far or are they simply a sign of the times? after last weekend’s “light show” at Fenway Park. When player Adam Duvall helped win last Saturday’s game with a walk off shot to left center, the Red Sox unleashed flashing LED light effects across the park turning the Park into a scene from a club.
