An End to Abusive Coaching. A bill has been filed in MA, An Act to Remodel Public School Athletic Teams through Social Emotional Learning, which aims to put an end to abusive coaching in public school sports. Advocates say the goal is to create a written curriculum on “how to create positive, safe, and supportive environments where people perform better and learn faster.” Does this proposed legislation have your support? A Tribute to Nurses! This week is National Nurses Week! There are roughly 4.2 million nurses working in the U.S. A recent survey of RNs in MA that was conducted by Beacon Research of the State of Nursing in Massachusetts, found that nearly 9 in 10 think the overall quality of health care in Massachusetts hospitals has gotten worse over the past two years. Katie Murphy, President of the MA Nurses Association, discusses the state of the nursing profession with Dan.
Biden Business. Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability unveiled allegations that President Joe Biden and family members engaged in business with foreign nationals. The committee subpoenaed several banks and the information obtained indicates the Biden family, their associates, and their companies allegedly received over $10 million from foreign companies including China and Romania while Biden served as Vice President and even after he left public office.
