Bakery vs. NH Town. Leavitt’s Country Bakery is in a legal battle with the town of North Conway, NH over a whimsical donut mural painted by local highschoolers that is displayed above their shop. Local officials declared that the mural violates the town’s sign ordinance. Leavitt’s owner Sean Young sued in response claiming it violates his right to free speech. Young joins Dan to discuss.
Boston’s “Well Maintained” Urban Roads. A new study from Teletrac, a GPS tracking company, found that Boston ranks #3 on their top ten list of the best maintained urban roads in the country. What do they factor in when determining road conditions? What is your experience driving on Boston’s roads? Do you find them to be well maintained?
Arming Teachers? A survey done by RAND corp. of teachers regarding school safety found that 1 in 5 teachers feel schools would be safer if teachers were allowed to be armed. The majority at 54% feel schools would be less safe if teachers were trained to carry. What is your opinion on arming schoolteachers? Is it a good or bad idea?
