Not Guilty. Boston City Councilor Kendra Lara plead not guilty today to traffic charges related to her alleged high-speed crash into a home in Jamaica Plain last month. Lara outlined she is “committed to seeing” the legal process through and expressed “faith and trust in the court process.” Dan expands upon this story tonight.

A Language Check. Pop quiz! Is it still acceptable to use the term “low-income?” According to the polling firm Morning Consult, which surveyed over 4,000 Americans, it’s really not. Only 33% said it’s still acceptable. Dan will share more words you may be using, but probably shouldn’t.
