Analyzing Student Success in MA. The National Assessment of Educational Progress’ latest results show that Massachusetts students’ performance has been in decline since at least 2017. Last year, the Nation’s Report Card found that 57 percent of fourth graders in MA were found not proficient in math and reading. Dan analyzes the potential contributing factors and what can be done to improve student success in MA.
House Vote To Oust McCarthy. Today, the debate was on in the U.S. House of Representatives over whether to oust House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. FL Rep. Matt Gaetz was leading the charge, claiming McCarthy is “unworthy of leadership. The House voted to remove House Speaker McCarthy after a 216-210 vote. Dan will discuss the results of the vote and wants to hear your reaction.
