Boston Rec Center Opens Its Doors to Migrants. Today the Melnea Cass Recreational Complex in Roxbury opened its doors to house migrants. The 400-bed temporary overflow shelter site will be up and running until June of this year. Protesters gathered outside the complex today, to which Gov. Healey said, “we're here today because we really don't have a choice.” Tonight, we’ll discuss.
Assessing Free Speech on College Campuses. The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) came out with a new report that rates 489 of America’s top colleges and universities based on how much their policies threaten student speech. Massachusetts colleges and universities fared very poorly in the 2024 report…Dan will discuss the school policies that infringe on free speech and how to fix them.
