The Push to End School Bullying. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that in the last year 1 in 5 high school students report being bullied on school property. In addition, more than 1 in 6 students reported being cyberbullied in the last year. Kirk Smalley is the co-founder of Stand for the Silent, an organization devoted to ending school bullying. Smalley believes there is a good chance that your school is not doing enough. Smalley joins us on NightSide to discuss the ways we can put an end to school bullying.
Major Snowstorm Coming! Boston is bracing for a nor’easter that is projected to bring anywhere from 8 inches to a foot of snow! Boston Mayor Wu has declared a snow emergency ahead of the storm that is set to begin overnight Monday into Tuesday. The heaviest snow is expected to fall between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
